earthbound

Nancy Stedman

Underlying rocks and continuing geomorphological processes determine so much of how and where we live.  In this country we probably have an unrealistic view of the earth and rocks below us as being stable and unchanging.  In ‘Earthbound’ I started to explore some of the processes that are underway all the time - rock faces cracking apart, soils eroding and accreting, rivers braiding and ponds silting up.
