’Still earthbound’ comprises works that reflect my continuing fascination with our relationship to the earth we inhabit. The more I learn about our planet earth, the more miraculous I find it - that such precise conditions are maintained that support life, and that we have evolved to be conscious of, and able to reflect on, our existence. Aerial views enabled us to take a wider look at the evidence of our activities, and to see connections and consequences. Much can be read from looking at the ways in which man has marked, moved and constructed the surface, always responding to the underlying physical conditions.
